I utilized the army calculator but I don’t think it’s calculating GT score right. calculator figures GT=VE + AR. There are only 35 questions for WK and 15 for PC. that’s a maximum of 50 plus AR(30) thats a maximum possible GT score of 80 with the calculator. You need at least a 110 GT for alot of jobs so how is that figured. Another website stated that the you need to double the VE score and then add it to AR. Just trying to find out which is right. thank you.

Which calculator are you refering to? I am still working on the calculations for the Air Force one. It is pretty complicated compared to the other ones.

Also alot of the information that is on the internet regarding the ASVAB score stuff is very outdated. For example most of them are still using the CODING SPEED as a subtest, when this has been removed from the ASVAB tests.

Since each service weighs each of the subtest differently, they calculations for them is different. These are the most current calculations for the ASVAB lines scores for the army ASVAB score:

    CL — Clerical—VE+AR+MK
    CO — Combat—AR+AS+MC
    EL — Electronics—GS+AR+MK+EI
    FA — Field Artillery—AR+MK+MC
    GM — General Maintenance—GS+AS+MK+EI
    GT — General Technical—VE+AR
    MM — Mechanical Maintenance—AS+MC+EI
    OF — Operators & Food—VE+AS+MC
    SC — Surveillance & Communications—VE+AR+AS+MC
    ST — Skilled Technical—GS+VE+MK+MC

These are updated as of 2011 and confirmed by several recruiters. If you find a reliable source that is more updated I always appreciate the reference in order to keep the calculators updated.

I hope you get the AF Calculator up soon. I took a retest for the AFCT, and the proctor did the scoring by hand and made errors. I really don’t trust her re-calculation. She was very upset when I called her out. Thank you.

  3. Hans says:

When entering your data into these calculators, be sure to enter your ADJUSTED SCORES, not your RAW SCORES.

  4. Perry says:

What’s up with the AF score calculator?

  5. mitch says:

does anyone know of a navy avsab score to marine corps score converter?

  6. Anne says:

just wondering why the USMC and USAF calculators don’t work. You can only click on the Army, Navy & Coast Guard. Of course our senior is considering the USMC or USAF and they don’t work.
Can you let me know when these will back working. We did use the Army one and it was great!
